देश में 11 लाख से ज्यादा बच्चे नहीं गए स्कूल, लिस्ट में पहले नंबर पर यूपी
सरकार ने सोमवार को बताया कि वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 के पहले आठ महीनों में देशभर में ऐसे 11.70 लाख से अधिक बच्चों की पहचान की गई है जो स्कूल में पढ़ाई नहीं कर रहे हैं। लोकसभा में प्रश्न के उत्तर में केंद्रीय शिक्षा राज्य मंत्री जयन्त चौधरी ने कहा कि ऐसे बच्चों की सबसे ज्यादा संख्या उत्तर प्रदेश में है। उत्तर प्रदेश में 7.84 लाख बच्चे स्कूल नहीं जाते।
मंत्री की तरफ से साझा किए गए आंकड़ों के अनुसार, 11,70,404 बच्चों की पहचान स्कूल नहीं जाने वाले बच्चों के रूप में की गई है। झारखंड में 65 हजार से अधिक और असम 63 हजार से अधिक बच्चे स्कूल नहीं जाते हैं।
ग्रामीण साक्षरता दर 10 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा
